Rolfing Structural Integration - 60 to 75 minutes
Rolfing is a hands on approach utilizing bodywork and guided movement reeducation to address fascial restrictions and compensation patterns that keep you locked into cycles of pain and discomfort. Clients find relief from trauma and feel taller, lighter, and sometimes younger. The goal is to address your nervous system below the threshold of pain so changes occur naturally and last.
Movement Reeducation - Up to 60 minutes
Rolf Movement Online is 1 on 1 movement reeducation which addresses everyday breathing, walking, bending, lifting and other ways you normally move within the comfort of your own space. You can get rid of pain through balanced, mindful movement. This session makes you aware of your current compensation patterns which keep you in pain. Rolf Movement sessions can be done in 10-Series format, to address a specific movement concern, or to supplement your current series.
Movement Reeducation & Body Meditation - 90 minutes
This group movement class meets quarterly at Sanford Yoga & Community Center and teaches you a self care routine using slow, mindful movements to identify your compensation patterns. Practitioners need no level of fitness or yoga experience to participate. Breathing, walking, bending, lifting and daily movements can be addressed. Each class aims to integrate a new, easier movement pattern for you.
